| Poniard Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which topped the Most Volatile Stocks report for more than one month, dropped 75% today. According to the Associated Press, the company said patients who took picoplatin as a treatment for relapsed lung cancer did not survive significantly longer than those who received only the best available care.
Indexed implied volatility remained high, falling from 2.65 on Friday to 2.29 today on volume of nearly 200,000 contracts. CBAK now tops the Most Volatile Stocks list for stocks over $2.
