Strategy Calculator Help

The Strategy Calculator lets you stack up to four option legs (long or short, calls or puts) on the same underlying and visualize the resulting profit and loss across a range of expiration prices.

How to use it

1. Load a symbol. Click Load Data for Symbol to pull current quotes and the option chain.
2. Add legs. Each row is one leg. Pick call or put, long or short, the strike, and the expiration.
3. Inspect the P/L. The chart updates immediately; key numbers (max profit, max loss, break-even) are summarized below.

Tips

• Saved strategies can be re-loaded from your account.
• Use the Volatility Adjust slider to see what happens to the P/L if IV moves higher or lower at expiration.
